Noctooorne, a retailer of furniture and textiles for the sleeping space, opened its first showroom in Bucharest last week.

The company is owned by Romanian entrepreneur Samuel Bumbu, 33, and Italian Alessandro Gregori, 32. The two entrepreneurs carried out works in several countries such as Italy, Qatar, Russia or Switzerland.

The investment in the first year of activity will amount to about EUR 300,000. It will pay off in about three years, according to the two investors, reports local Wall-street.ro.

The company sells furniture for bedrooms, as well as textiles for the sleeping and bathroom areas. It brings international brands such as the French Treca, Swedish Hastens or Italian D’elite.

The retailer plans to make a turnover of EUR 700,000 in the first year of activity. Some of its biggest competitors in this market segment are Swedish retailer IKEA and Danish retailer Jysk.
