The Embassy of the Republic of Korea will relocate its headquarters to Sky Tower, the tallest building in Romania, this July.
The Embassy will operate from the 33rd floor of the office building in Bucharest, covering a space of 1,157 sqm, reports local Ziarul Financiar. The lease contract was signed for five years.
“We’ve made this decision because, by moving in the Sky Tower building, we’ll benefit from a series of facilities that ensure a high degree of business efficiency and an enhanced level of comfort for the Embassy staff,” said Kim Eun-Joong, the Korean Ambassador to Romania.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea is the 23rd tenant of Sky Tower, joining companies active in various areas such as IT, banking, and architecture. The office building has an occupancy rate of 96%.
Rising 37 floors high, Sky Tower is the tallest building in Romania. The building is 137 meters tall and was completed at the end of 2012, following investments of over EUR 120 million by Austrian group Raiffeisen. It has a gross building area of 50,400 sqm and a leasable area of over 40,400 sqm.
