Polishgroup hotel Orbis, the largest hotel network in Eastern Europe, and its local development partner FAB Industry have just started working on the first ibis Styles hotel in Romania. The hotel, located in Arad in western Romania, will receive its first guests in the second quarter of 2017, according to a company statement.
“Romania is a very promising market with great potential, one of the key markets in the region and an important element of our development strategy. With the arrival of ibis Styles, a dynamic and well-known international hotel brand to Romania we are aiming to bring innovation and a new hotel experience for the guests,” said Gilles Clavie, president and CEO of Orbis Hotel Group.
The new ibis Styles Arad will be a 3-star hotel with 72 guest rooms. It will also feature a restaurant, a lobby bar, three meeting rooms, and a multi-purpose room for conferences and events.
“We are confident that by bringing a leading international hotel operator such as Orbis/AccorHotels to our city and a new, dynamic and well-known international hotel brand like ibis Styles we are strengthening Arad’s position in both business as well as in leisure tourism,” said Flavius Balaj, the owner of FAB Industry, the company that will own the hotel and one of the companies belonging to the Mr. FAB group.
Mr. FAB operates in the industrial construction field. With the opening of the first ibis Styles hotel in Romania, the group will enter the hospitality business.
The hotel will be located on Aurel Vlaicu street in Arad, 0.8 km from the A1 highway.
