Romanian cosmetics producer Cosmetic Plant increased its exports by 145% in the first three quarters of the year compared to the same period in 2014.
In the first part of the year, the company exported to new countries such as Jordan, Portugal, and Moldova, whereas in the second part of the year the firm tried to build up the relationships with the existing partners, according to Cosmetics Plant.
The company has managed to enter new pharmacy chains in Hungary, said Susana Laszo, Cosmetic Plant general director, reports local Capital.ro.
The company carried out its first exports to Austria and Lebanon in 2009. Last year, it entered new markets such as Greece, Hong Kong, UK, Azerbaijan, and Hungary.
The company’s turnover could reach EUR 2 million. The producer has invested this year some EUR 157,000 in new equipment.
